About the role
A leading plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking an Associate to join its team in either San Francisco or Boston. The successful candidate will prosecute high-profile securities class action cases on behalf of institutional investors, litigating matters through the complete lifecycle from initial complaint through to resolution. Key responsibilities include drafting high-level briefs, motions, and pleadings, formulating novel legal theories, conducting complex research into evolving securities jurisprudence, and working closely alongside partners on core case strategy.
What we are looking for
- Substantial experience (typically 3–10 years) in securities litigation, with exposure to class actions; defense-side experience is welcome. - Exceptional brief-writing and analytical abilities. - Proven track record of developing creative legal arguments. - Demonstrated commitment to plaintiff-side institutional investor representation. - Stable employment record, ideally supported by high-calibre law firm training.
Compensation
$160,000 – $220,000+ base salary commensurate with experience, plus discretionary annual bonus based on firm and individual performance.
