Litigation Associate (Media & IP)

About the role

We are looking for a Litigation Associate with 3–4 years of experience to join a 21-lawyer boutique media and intellectual property law firm handling cutting-edge copyright, trademark, First Amendment, and newsgathering litigation. This is a high-responsibility role for a sharp, driven litigator who wants to work directly with clients on fast-moving, high-stakes matters from day one. What will you be doing? Support litigation matters end-to-end — from inception through resolution — across federal and state courts and arbitrations Conduct pre-publication and pre-broadcast clearance work, identifying legal risks and advising media clients weekly Draft dispositive motions, briefs, and advocacy-driven submissions with sophisticated legal research Manage discovery strategy, document review, depositions, and motion practice Collaborate directly with partners and clients to develop and execute case strategy, including court appearances and oral arguments
