About the role
This role involves supporting a rapidly expanding, fully remote law firm in managing the commercial contract lifecycle for venture-backed clients. The successful candidate will work directly alongside attorneys on the Tech Transactions team, assisting them in handling the increasing demand for MSAs, DPAs, SaaS agreements, and other commercial contracts. Responsibilities include reviewing, redlining, and managing various commercial agreements under attorney supervision, supporting the full commercial contract lifecycle from intake through execution for startup clients across sectors such as AI, health tech, and biotech. The role also requires handling healthcare-specific agreements and ensuring HIPAA compliance, improving internal processes and documentation for efficiency, and collaborating with attorneys, project managers, and engineers in a squad-based model to deliver embedded client support.
What we are looking for
Candidates must possess 4-20 years of experience as a tech transactions paralegal. Essential requirements include hands-on experience reviewing and marking up commercial agreements (MSAs, NDAs, SaaS agreements) and broad industry exposure across multiple verticals, with narrow experience in a single client or industry being a disqualifier. Healthcare experience, including familiarity with Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) and HIPAA-related provisions, is mandatory. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fully remote, fast-paced, high-autonomy environment, demonstrating strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A genuine interest in building new legal service delivery models is also sought.
Compensation
$125,000 - $160,000 base salary
