About the role
A pioneering, technology-enabled Canadian immigration law firm is seeking an Associate Client Growth Lawyer to convert substantial inbound prospective client interest into retained instructions. Working in an AI-forward environment, the successful candidate will manage initial client consultations, assess Canadian immigration eligibility, secure retainers, and hit a monthly revenue target following a ramp-up period. The role also involves leveraging and testing modern generative AI tools alongside product and engineering teams to optimise intake, follow-up, and matter onboarding.
What we are looking for
- Qualified lawyer in good standing with a Canadian provincial or territorial law society, with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (RCICs in good standing with the CICC are also considered). - Exceptional client-facing communication skills, capable of demystifying complex legal processes for prospective clients. - Motivated by a commercially driven, revenue-focused role featuring an uncapped performance commission structure. - Demonstrated familiarity and curiosity with AI technologies (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT). - Prior immigration law experience is advantageous but not strictly required.
Compensation
CAD 80,000 - CAD 100,000 base salary, with uncapped commission (3% to 5% of closed revenue) resulting in on-target earnings of CAD 150,000 - CAD 180,000+.
